| Hi, I haven't had an interview at UQ myself but I know people who have. They will ask you about current events and ask you to pick one of several topics and to give an opinion on it then they will pick it apart and try and get you flustered or to change your opinion (apparently some people cry at this point which is an automatic fail) it is to see how you handle stress also they will give you a couple of medical terms (eg DNA) and ask you to explain one in laymens terms. Other than that I think they just ask general questions like why you want to do medicine etc. Hope that helps. |

Holy crap ... *just been reading what they ask Usyd peeps* ... and compared to U syd, UQ sounds nuts ... (although v. interesting)
thanks for sharing *yeeech! UQ is >_* although I suppose for those who did a bit of research first could really do well in that q whilst others, would, well.. yeah ...
omg. cry. ... holy... (really only because it takes a lot for anything to make me cry ... ) could this be prejudice towards guys than girls? (on the assumption that girls cry more easily than boys ... perhaps more towards their social up bringing than that of 'they are manlier' or boys don't cry! reasons)

Building blocks of life. etc
Like the notes of a song sheet, telling your body what to do. |
