Hi everyone,
I just got Medprep's audio sampler via email. It seems great. But do you think you can learn so much material via the computer? I wanted to go to their live course but everything is now online. I have never tried to learn so much material via the computer! IS IT EFFECTIVE? Am I going to learn all this stuff? Or should I try their home study course? Does anyone know how many hours of lecture the online course is? Their email says that their course will be online on Jan 15 - does that mean that I have to start the course on Jan 15 or can I start later? |

Anna, I had many of your questions. Contacting medprep was very helpful (07 3102 4633). From this forum it seems that medprep has been unresponsive to some people. My experience has been quite the opposite. I contacted them by phone last week and spoke to someone about all my worries. This is what I have learned: while their online course is available from mid January, it can be accessed at any time after that for 30 or 60 days (depending on what you have paid). The online lectures are recordings of the live lectures of their #1 teacher. I think the person I spoke to said that there were 30 hours of online lectures and 1000 pages of notes.
Anna, I think that to do well on Gamsat, you need the right knowledge and heaps of practice with mock Gamsat questions. Some people need a teacher and others just need a book. Personally, I need a teacher, but attending lectures just once might not be as good as hearing them repeatedly. I like the idea of going through the lectures multiple times. If it wasnt for this, I would still be upset with medprep for going online because I had planned on doing their live course |
