WOW! An online lynching by p2409 and sanctioned by the administrator.

Not very progressive and pretty embarassing.
I would like to remind everyone that there are many gamsat and umat prep courses available. Des, Medprep, Medired, Gamsatguru etc. Where there is a demand, there is a supply. If services offered are poor, then these organisations will go out of business, as they should. If services are useful, then everyone wins....Let the market simply work.
As for p2409, your time might be better spent preparing for GAMSAT rather than spewing venom, suspicion and discord -- hardly the qualities of a future doctor.

Remember, a bad workman always blames his tools.

And no, I have not been paid by ANYONE to write this.

Another one of these one day blowins

a) FYI I'm already in and got 71 for GAMSAT - so stick ur bad workman comment.
b) I'm not specifically complaining about the quality of medprep here (although it's not fantastic) - I'm complaining about the mysterious spruiking. It's more than a coincidence. Three postings, all in sequence, all from different id's created the same day, all from the same IP address, all spruiking medprep - get real.
c) "spewing venom, suspicion and discord" - to whom? Medprep? Let the postings speak for themselves. Hijacking a site that people come to for independent advice is obscene and those 3 postings from the same 3 addresses suggest on balance there's a scam going on.
d) "Let the market simply work." - exactly - misleading the customer is not letting the market work - back to Eco 101 for you.

Welcome to the forum, Bruce! I have moved this topic to the appropriate forum. Please be aware of the forum rules before posting.

As for sanctioning p2409's views: it is not my place to sanction nor condemn anyone's opinions. My role as moderator is to make sure the forum does not become disorganised, and to make sure that offensive comments and language are removed. Having said this, I too have my own views.

Bruce, I am sorry if you are offended by p2409's remarks, but they happen to be true. This forum does not favour any GAMSAT preparation companies and it is not acceptable for this forum to be turned into one giant advertisement for any particular company.

anyway remember the aim is to beat the GAMSAT...not beat the hell out of eachother!!! Laughing

I agree(Although this is from 2 months ago), Bruce seems to be a very angry man. I bet he's one of these holier than thou 22 year old idealists who is probably frustrated using hi right hand all the time. Just a shit stirrer with nothing better to do. Go to another forum and vomit your spleen and intestines out.
