hi guys
just a hint
you can get seriously high marks on the essays !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i think the large numbers of people
... most are people on their 5th attempt who get something like 30%
i think that most people who passed (in perth) got a place
even people who failed (45%) got places
they had gpas around 6.2
if you have hospital backgrounds it wil help in the essay and the interview
and expect to be a gp, because there are only about 6 training places offered each year for the whole of australia for cardiology, surgery etc
apparently they have increased places for emergency
but the govt just wants more gps
and a bonded place includes mandurah, so isn't that bad for some people
(who live in mandurah anyway)
overall, the best thing in the course - are the hospital visits |

hi guys.
i need some help. BAD!
I want to sit the GAMSAT for 2011 entry. Does that mean I sit for the test in 2011, or 2010 in preparation for the next year?
Also, I'd love to join an study groups available.
It's been 5 years since my uni days, and I did not study Physics, Chem or Bio.
I am in the process of trying to get my hands on some materials that i'd be willing to share with the group!
cheers,
Brian |

My physics and chem are very good. My weak pint is human biology.
Looking to join a study group.

You talk absolute rubbish. I wish you would think before you post.
None of the 'information' you've included up there is actually correct... or if it is, its not in any context that makes it helpful for anyone.
If you're going to make huge sweeping statements like "expect to be a GP because there are only 6 positions nation wide for other colleges", then please provide some more information, be that a link to a resource or some other kind of supporting data.
This kind of talk just makes students (and potential students) nervous, and stirs people up unnecessarily. |

Hi
I'm a health science graduate and I'm currently doing my masters of physiotherapy. I'm sitting the GAMSAT in 2010 as a trial run for 2011 so I've done limited study I'm really interested in joining your study group if it's still going for some last minute preparation. I've got all the ACER practice tests and several other GAMSAT resources.
Look forward to hearing back from you guys
Tony |
