| Im currently studying at Auckland uni and Im almost half-way through my 4.5 year degree. Im thinking of doing med in Aus after i finish. I have done no physics in uni or at school and my mathematical abilities are poor. Hence i was thinking of investing in some sorta prep material. Any suggestions as there are quite a few out there? |

Hi....
From my experience, prep materials are great for the last few months before GAMSAT. I had no background in science, and I found it easier to start at square one, and work from there.
Given where you are in your studies (i.e. that you have a lot of time till you graduate), I'd suggest getting hold of some high school mathematics text books, and some Year 12 Physics and Chemistry texts as a starting point. Take it slow, and really focus on understanding the topics, rather than chewing through them.
Learn those basic concepts, and then you can think about going on to the harder Chemistry etc that you will find in GAMSAT.
Additionally, it might be worth thinking about doing some creative writing, or at least working on your basic grammar. I have to tell you that some of the sentences in your initial message are clumsy, and using made up words like 'sorta' is lazy. I say this in the spirit of helping you in your future pursuits, so please don't take it the wrong way . It is better that you teach yourself to communicate well now, rather than having to think hard about it during GAMSAT, or worse still, Med School.
Best of luck!
