I am thinking of getting the mediprep notes and online stuff, so I can visit and revisit it (so eloquently put by a spammer on this site) as well as the Des o' neil stuff. this is of course in addition to the Official GAMSAT papers from the Acer website. Has anyone done this?

I know its expensive, but so is a year of my life if I don't do well and have to wait around for th 2011 test.

Any other combo strategies?

Also is anyone else doing brain training? haha thought i'd ask...

I did Des's most involved course, there was more than enough to keep my busy for 10 months prior to Gamsat. There's no way I could keep my job and work through two prep courses prior to GAMSAT. Des's material is a revision of what you need to know, so in addition I bought Physics, Chemistry and Biology text books. Reading the texts, consolidating the information and working through Des's questions took a lot of effort, and that's just the Science section. My english was atrocious, so there was also a lot of work reading news papers, challenging literature and writing essays.

Maybe it would be prudent to purchase one preparation package and work through it. If you feel you've mastered the material and it was insufficient then buy a second package. And there you have my $.02 worth Wink

Good luck.

yahvinah,

i personally think brain training is good. i have been looking at logic puzzles and just keeping my brain active with different activities. I think this can help with GAMSAT style questions.
