Hey guys...
Just thinking about doing GAMSAT next year. Im currently a Physiotherapist, completed my Graduate Entry Masters at the start of this year.
I have read different things about which GPA they take... In my instance,
My first degree in applied science was crap at like 4. 97 - 5. 00.
However my Graduate Entry Masters was about 5.9. Both were done at university of south australia. (WHen converted are around 5.45 and 6.35)
So im unsure how of what weighted GPA means, and whether my marks in my previous degrees will hold me in good stead ?
Any thoughts and ideas will be helpful.

Weighted GPA means they give more weight to your 3rd year than your 2nd and 1st. Otherwise they give the same weight to each.
As far as I am aware, they only count your most recent years, and you get some credit for it being a grad degree. Therefore my understanding is that your ordinary performance in the first degree won't matter much, if at all, because they'll only count the better performance of the grad degree.
And if your grades improved over time with that, then weighted GPA works in your favour there also.
I don't know the specifics of UQ or Griffiths... |

You have a masters in physio, that's all they will need to know.
GPA is the least important of the 3 criteria.
If I were you I would honestly not worry about it. |

Not many of the unis recognise any masters by coursework... does anybody know which unis do recognise this apart from UQ?
