Hi all.
First of all, this forum is a gold mine. Glad to have things put in perspective with so many people suffering the same fates!
Anyways I'm at Melbourne Uni about to commence my final year of BSc, and I manually calculated my GPA (averaged out the 1st + 2nd years') with a result of 5.5. Best case scenario - if I get 7s for the rest of my subjects this year - I'll have a GPA of 6.1, and worst case, 5.4.
My question is how exactly the different medical schools 'weigh' each year's GPA x1, x2 and x3 each consecutive year. Would it work out better or worse for me if my final year doesn't go as well as I hope?
Thanks a lot! |

| you will have to check with the specific uni you want to apply to, I know that UWA weighs all years equally, which really sucks. |
