Anyone starting to study for GAMSAT 2007 in Brisbane next year? Anyone from Central Queensland? I need all the help that I can possibly get.

Yeah, im going to sit the GAMSAT in Brissy next year. i live on the Gold Coast though.

how do you start studying for the GAMSAT without doing the course first? Do i wait till January to start stuyding...?

Dont start studying just yet, you'll burn out. You need to know high school physics and first year uni chem and biol. I reccomend either going and going one of the intensive prep courses, and/or going through lecture notes from chem and biol subjects, even if you dont do the subjects yourself. Go see a high school physics teacher, and ask if they can help you, I'm sure they would only be too happy to provide a curriculum, and maybe even some better help.

Organic chem is important, but from what I've heard, dont just skim over the rest.

I just made a post in the study group thread about brisbane groups (I won't repeat it all here). If anyone is interested in occasional meetings to discuss study strategies and the content of topics being tested, exchange notes and materials, etc, let me know. I'll be sitting GAMSAT in '07.

Right, just got all of my revision stuff today.

Will start studying when I get home from uni.

Thank Fuck I remember all of my Biochemistry and that I tutor Year 12 Biology and Chemistry.

Physics will kill me, but I'll concentrate on that the hardest I think

Thats good. I'm doing physio, so I'm finding that the Biochem and Organic Chem need a fair bit of work. If they ask anything about exercise prescription, I'll be set Very Happy
