I was thinking about hitting up their practice tests?
I can't post the URL because the forum won't allow me but it's ozimed dot com. |

The OziMed material is more challenging than the GAMSAT, and certainly tougher than MedPrep. A good resource to prepare with, but supplement with ACER material. Buying the full practice exam is reccommended.

| I found Ozimed to be very easy for section 1, and quite up to gamsat standard for section 3 where most people need it. |

Hey guys,
I know its too late for the person asking the q but others may benefit. Me and my study group thought thatOziMed was good pretty much for practicing your timing only.
The first section was waaaay too easy compared to gamsat, the second section had no theme to write on and scetion three had too much theory. The gamsat involves more skills knowledge of the sciences.
I reconmmed buying 3-5 papers and doing them under exam conditions to get the timing right. |

I do agree with you that Section 3 was not very skill-based like the gamsat is, but I found it really great practice to really fine tune some knowledge that I was lacking. It really highlighted my weakness areas and gave me alot of practice to build those skills quickly.
I have to say that I came from a Bachelor of Music and no science background since high school, and OZIMED was the only help I had to prep me for the gamsat (I only got 5 of the exams). As it turned out, I got a 58 for the science section this year. You may think that is pretty crap, but I thought I was going to fail - so I was quite pleased. |

in response to saying that Ozimed exams were too easy
i found the Medprep exams were a lot, lot harder then the actual Gamsat exam, seeing the questions on the day was quite a relief |

I rate Ozimed, even if it's to give you the practice of attacking the GAMSAT material under exam conditions.
Technique and strategy are as important as knowledge for the test if not more so.
Ozimed enabled me, a recruitment agent to get a score of 64 including 65 on the science section. |

| I've heard that the ozimed papers are just the American MCAT exams revisited again and hence are not that attuned to the Gamsat exam. Has anyone else heard this? |

I photocopied the entire ACER material, and Des O'Neills stuff.
And I don't care who knows it.
I can't afford paying for this kind of stuff, hell, I live on Mi Goreng and beer. My budget is something like $50 bucks a week for everything other than essentials |

I haven't used Ozimed, used Medprep personally. My two cents? Just go and get MCAT material instead. You get them way cheaper and they are pretty much the same thing.
They couldn't even be bothered to F4 the damn thing. |
