Who thinks the kiwis could crash out to Ireland or France. Anyone agree that it could be a semi including Australia, New Zealand, S Africa and Ireland/France.

For New Zealand to play France, they would have to get to Finals first. They need to beat Australia first.
This year, they have a much higher chance of winning because they have an easier run to the semmis
Semis would be hard against Australia.
Finals - France or SA. --> I think NZ would prefer SA. France is unpredictable, and they would have that home advantage, which is always hard to beat.
Either way, Can you think of any reason why all blacks shouldn't win? From 1-15, they have no weaknesses. |

Not nessecarily. Alot of Argentinians play in France for their clubs and are therefore familiar with the French. With such a strong pack they could just sneak a win tommorow. So if Ireland beat the pumas and lose to France one scenario could actually involve France facing the kiwis in the quarters even if it is only a long shot.
Overall it's New Zealands for the taking. S Afica and Australia have caught up on them over the year but they still have the edge if you ask me. They should carry through to the final even though some cracks are showing like England in '03. One weakness could be the lineout...Robinson is injured. I think Williams is also injured. Ireland are strong in the lineout so could target that as in the summer tour to nz. Unlike the aussies they probably wouldn't survive a full game with them though. |

| Argentina are the dark horses this time round. Could beat Ireland and France and who knows what could happen then. |
