Hi,

Im from newcastle, looking to form a study group to share study ideas/materials etc...
I have no science background (currently doing a bachelor of arts majoring in sociology and psychology) so am trying to learn chemistry, biology and physics in 8 months so i can give the 2008 GAMSAT a shot.
Will graduate in 09 so I do have another shot at the GAMSAT 2009 but would like to do as well as i can this time.

Hi Emma,

I am on the Central Coast but work up in Newcastle. I would love to share some ideas with others regarding the 2008 GAMSAT. We might be a good fit as I am an Environmental Engineer, so I'm confident with the science stuff, but not so with the written and verbal reasoning.

What is the best arrangement for you (days/nights, weekends/w'days)? I'm easy but a couple of hours during the day each/every second saturday/sunday until the test might be a good start. But as I say, I'm pretty flexible.

Hi Emma & Shaun,
I'm doing the Gamsat at the end of March in Limerick, Ireland but I'm living in Sunderland. I've just qualifed as a pharmacist so hopefully my biology and to a lesser extent chemistry should be okay! I read a lot and like English so I'm not too put off by the essay section but I never really studied any physics. Shocked

It'd be cool to meet up to see what other people are doing to prepare - I'm off every Sunday but i'd be up for week day nights too if that suits people.
