art subjects ? help Gamsat section 1&2

i have just finished year 12. i think that i can get in Melbourne uni biomedicine ( my 1st preference ). since English is my second language and i know that Gamsat section 1 and 2 are about social and humanity knowledge, i am thinking about taking some art subjects as breath subjects .there are 3 breath tracks that i am thinking about. each consists of 3 subjects at level 1,2 and 3.
1 sociology
2 anthropology; self and society
3 ethics and political philosophy
4 psychology
which one will help me most with Gamsat part 1 and 2 ?
Furthermore, since English is my second language , i really want to practise writing essays and expand my vocabulary . i have been to Australia for 3 years and got 44 raw for ESL, are my writing and english skills good enough to do those subjects ? or i may take the risk of getting a low GPA ? . if not doing those subjects, i would like to learn chinese and may get a good GPA , but at this time Gamsat preparation ( especially the writing part ) is more important to me than knowing another language

I have a Ba.Communications and english is my first language.

I got the following scores in the 2010 GAMSAT - 40/80/40.

I would recommend options 1 and 3. These will give you some good foder for your essays, and you might even have to write a few for option 1 - sociology.

as for section 1 of the GAMSAT - my major flaw was that I didn't move-on from time consuming questions, which I really ought to have. don't make this mistake - it will make a fool of you!
